About the athlete

Stuart Robinson

Team GB Wheelchair Rugby Player

Former RAF Regiment commander, Stuart transitioned from leading troops to leading on the wheelchair rugby court. 2013 was a pivotal year for Stuart: life-changing injuries and then trying wheelchair rugby for the first time, giving him a clear goal and marking the start of an incredible athletic career. Stuart immediately made an international impact, winning a historic gold at the Invictus Games just one year later. Stuart’s drive and determination has enabled him to compete at the highest level, gaining titles such as five-time European champion and twice Paralympian – coming 4th in 2024 and winning gold in 2021.
