Antony Cotterill

Wheelchair Tennis

Antony had a very active upbringing, playing many different sports and being on lots of sports teams. In 2003 Antony broke his neck when he fell into a swimming pool. The accident left him unable to walk and needing to use a wheelchair full-time. Antony has always been a tennis fan and was inspired to give wheelchair tennis a go after watching it while recovering from his accident in hospital. Since taking up wheelchair tennis, Antony has represented Great Britain at the Paralympic Games and won many singles and doubles titles around the world.
